Bishop Charley & Pastor Linda Gallegos

[EXPAND Pastor Fermin Bonsell]Pastor Fermin is a California native. He was raised in a Christian home and has served in various ministries, including Praise & Worship, Choir, and has even worked with Drama Teams and the Children’s Ministry. He found his home at DCCI in 2006 and took on the Youth Ministry with his wife in 2008.

Pastor Fermin’s father passed away when he was a teen. The loss of his father at such a young age opened his heart and has allowed him to become a father-figure to countless young men in our youth group. He is humbled beyond measure to now be called “Youth Pastor”!

Pastor Fermin met his wife, Pastor Liz at church. They were friends for many years before they married in 1997. He is a dedicated husband and loving father to his two children, Savannah and CJ. [/EXPAND]

[EXPAND Pastor Liz Bonsell]Pastor Liz was born again at 19 years old and has been involved in various ministries ever since! She joined DCCI in 2006 and took on the Youth Ministry side-by-side with her husband in 2008.

Pastor Liz is a California native and raised up in the Luch Libre World as her dad was a wrestler (now a Reverend himself). Pastor Liz had colorful teen years and considers herself a retired punker…now redeemed and restored. She firmly believes in being involved in the lives of our new generation and showing them how real Christ is and how much they are loved and called, not as future leaders but as the leaders of today.

Her expressed motto is: “You have to smell like sheep if you want to be a shepherd!”

Pastor Liz and her husband, Pastor Fermin were married in 1997 and have been blessed with two children who are also part of the Youth Band: Savannah on the keyboard and CJ on drums. [/EXPAND]

[EXPAND Pastor Jerry Jaimez]Pastor Jerry grew up in Santa Fe Springs, California and has been a longtime resident of the city of Whittier.

Pastor Jerry has been affiliated with DCCI since the early 90’s and was ordained pastor in 2014. He is actively involved in the training and “equipping of the saints for the work of ministry” (Ephesians 4:12) through teaching Foundations of Faith, Leadership, and Evangelism classes at DCCI.

Pastor Jerry has been married to his wife Sandii since 1991 and has been blessed with four amazing children: Amanda, Brittni, Joseph, and Alexxis and a beautiful granddaughter. [/EXPAND]

[EXPAND Pastor John Paul Martinez]Pastor John Paul was raised in Rialto, California. In 2005, the Lord spoke to him and said…For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord (Romans 6:23). He entered the Daniel Alvarez Center – a Men’s Home in Whittier, CA and his life has never been the same. A few seasons later, God spoke and called him to preach…The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because He has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to set the oppressed free (Luke 4:18).

Pastor John Paul is now leading the Catching Ministry, serving under the Usher Ministry, and on the Pastoral Staff at Destiny Community Church, Int’l…fulfilling his call along with his wife Maria to Rebuild, Restore, and Raise Up foundations of many generations under the leadership of Pastors Charley and Linda Gallegos.

[EXPAND Pastor Richard Olague]Pastor Rich was raised in La Habra, California and born again on October 12, 1995.

Pastor Rich and his family found their home at DCCI in 2005 and along with his wife, have served in various positions within the ministry. Pastor Rich was ordained pastor at DCCI in 2013. His wife Evelyn is currently DCCI’s Head Greeter, while Pastor Rich serves as God’s Armor Bearer for Senior Pastors Charley & Linda Gallegos. Pastor Rich also leads a weekly REACH Group at DCCI.

Pastor Rich and his wife Evelyn have been married since 1997.  They have been blessed with two sons: Richard and Sean, two daughters: Tessa and Tiffany, and two beautiful grandchildren. [/EXPAND]

[EXPAND Pastor Scott Rezab]Pastor Scott grew up in Mason City, a small town in Iowa. He has been affiliated with DCCI since 1991. In 1997, Pastor Scott left DCCI, but only for a season, eventually coming full circle back to his home church in 2010.

Pastor Scott was ordained pastor at DCCI in 2013. He is currently involved in teaching the Foundations Classes and along with his wife leading DCCI’s Young Adults Ministry. He is excited to see what God has in store for him and his family, but waiting patiently for His timing. Proverbs 3:5-6 says, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.”

Pastor Scott currently lives in Whittier, California with his wife Julie and has three children: Caleb, Nicole, and Andrew. [/EXPAND]

[EXPAND Pastor Mike Salas]Pastor Mike was born in San Jose, California, but raised in East LA. He attended schools throughout East LA and Montebello, including both ELAC and USC.

Originally born again in 1975, Pastor Mike rededicated his life in 1993 later becoming a licensed minister in 1996. He found his way to DCCI in early 1997 as a pastor starting a work for God, but closed it down to sit under Pastor Charley Gallegos. Today he is an ordained pastor at DCCI.

Pastor Mike is a licensed minister, ordained pastor, and holds an A.S. degree in Biblical Studies. He has held various positions within DCCI, including Dean of Destiny School of Ministry, Head Usher, Men’s Ministry Leadership, and has led various Bible Studies. He currently leads the REACH Ministry and Sunday Morning Classes, while serving as one of Pastor Charley’s Armor Bearers.

Pastor Mike is married to a beautiful woman named Rosa, has 4 children, and 2 grandchildren. [/EXPAND]

[EXPAND Pastor Lydia Suesoff]Pastor Lydia was born in Los Angeles, the youngest of 5, to Lino & Alice Diaz and raised in Whittier, California. She was saved and redeemed at 21 years old…after an attempted suicide. God spoke to her that she should prepare for ministry and soon He began to develop her in prophecy and teaching. Now that she has been ordained, she teaches a REACH Group in her home and volunteers at the church for counseling and prayer. She has been a member of DCCI and served at the church in various capacities for 21 years.

Pastor Lydia and her husband Fred were married in 1979 and have been blessed with 4 children: Gabriel, Niki, Rachelle, and Jessika and 12 grandchildren. [/EXPAND]

[EXPAND Pastor Vanisia Tapia]Pastor Vanisia was born in California and has lived in the small city of Pico Rivera longer than we can count! She and her family began attending DCCI in 2007 and have been planted ever since. She was ordained Evangelist in 2005 and then Pastor in 2013. Besides having the great opportunity of being a part of the Pastoral Staff at DCCI and graduating from DCCI’s Bible College, God has graced her with her own ministry: Sustaining Fire Ministries. God has been so good and has opened many doors to preach throughout various cities and states. A living testament, Pastor Vanisia firmly believes that there is power in the name of Jesus and because of this…bondages can be broken, hearts can be healed, addictions can be broken, and lives can be transformed!

Pastor Vanisia and her husband James have been married since 1990. She has had the pleasure of raising her two sons, James and Vincent, and more recently has had the great privilege of becoming a grandmother. [/EXPAND]
